East Lexington Businesses Continue New Tradition
Hoping to bring some holiday cheer to the families and businesses in East Lexington, a group of East Lexington business leaders arranged to have nearly 100 holiday wreaths hung from telephone poles from the East Lexington fire station to the Arlington town line. The oversized wreaths, adorned with bright red bows, were provided by Wilson Farm with financial support from several local businesses including Lexington Toyota, Enterprise Bank, Wilson Farm, Hunt Hardwood, Lexington Times, Dr. Krista Manickas and Lexington Implant Dentistry, Mass Ave Car Wash, Dr. Tigran Avetisyan and Lexington Family Dental, and the Lexington Holiday Lighting Committee. Lexington Times publisher Jim Shaw said, “It’s so important to include East Lexington when celebrating the holiday season. Too often this part of town is overlooked, so we made an effort again this year to bring some holiday cheer to East Lexington.”
