Lexington Pops Chorus Concert
Recognizing the 50th Anniversary of legendary British rock band Queen’s debut album and the release of their iconic song “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and embracing Freddy Mercury’s love of opera, The Lexington Pops Chorus presents “At the Opera with Lexington Pops Chorus”.
This exciting concert connects well known traditional opera choruses with 50 years of Rock Opera from Queen, and features:

Join us Friday, January 23rd at 7:30pm and Sunday, January 25th at 3:00pm for these exciting performances at The Pilgrim Congregational Church*, 55 Coolidge Avenue in Lexington, MA. Concert tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the door (check or cash), from members, or online at www.LexPops.org (service charge applies online). Lexington Pops Chorus is in its 44th season and enjoys the enthusiasm of singers from over 20 towns. Maxwell Evrard is the chorus’s dynamic conductor. David Owens, our accompanist, is in his 22nd season with the chorus. Lexington Pops Chorus is a member of The Greater Boston Choral Consortium.
For singers interested in joining us for our spring semester, we will hold two free open rehearsals at 7:30pm on Tuesdays, January 27th, 2026 and February 3rd, 2026 in Clark Hall at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave, Lexington (on the Green) and we welcome new singers! Auditions are not required, but singers must be able to read music. Please arrive by 7:15pm to sign in and get your music.
