Bridger Clark-Alderman Presented with the Boy Scouts of America Medal of Merit

Bridger Clark-Alderman, a Star Scout with Troop 57 Boxford, Great Eastern District, Spirit of Adventure Council, accompanied by his mother Mira Clark, and is the stepson of Lexington Firefighter Paramedic Richard Lucius was presented with the Medal of Merit, a heroism award from the Scouts BSA.

Bridger provided critical first aid, including placing a hand made tourniquet, to stop a life threatening bleeding wound from a leg.

In an interesting coincidence, Lexington Fire Lieutenant Peter Ricci, who had received the Scout Leader of the Year award from the Flintlock District, Spirit of Adventure Council earlier in the month, was on hand to congratulate Bridger.
