J oin the Town of Lexington and the Lexington Climate Action Network (LexCAN) for the 2026 Lexington Sustainability Fair, a free community event connecting Lexington residents with local organizations, businesses, municipal programs, and experts working to create a healthier, more sustainable future.
The Sustainability Fair will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lexington High School Commons 1 and 2.
Whether you’re looking to electrify your home, reduce waste, create a more sustainable yard, explore alternatives to driving, or simply learn more about climate action in our community, you’ll find resources and people ready to help!
Event Highlights:
- Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive — We will have electric vehicles on site for you to explore and take for a test drive.
- Electronics Recycling — Bring your old electronics to have them disposed of properly by EverTech Recycling.
- Textile Recycling—Bring old clothes and other textiles to have them disposed of properly by Bay State Textiles.
- South Asian Clothing Swap—IAL is hosting a South Asian clothing swap to help promote reuse.
- Home Electrification — Learn about heat pumps, energy efficiency, and other ways to make your home cleaner and more energy efficient.
- Sustainable Gardening & Native Plants — Discover ways to create beautiful, climate-friendly landscapes that support local ecosystems.
- Composting & Waste Reduction — Get practical tips and resources for reducing waste and composting at home.
- Climate & Environmental Advocacy — Connect with local organizations working to advance climate action and environmental sustainability.
