The Master Singers of Lexington Celebrate Adam Grossman’s 30th Anniversary as Music Director
The Master Singers of Lexington proudly announce a monumental milestone: Adam Grossman’s 30th anniversary as Music Director. Since joining the ensemble in 1995, Grossman has been the driving force behind the group’s artistic growth, delivering unforgettable performances and commissioning new works, which often feature prominent instrumentalists from the area. His leadership has fostered a deep connection between the singers, audiences, and the choral repertoire.
Over the past three decades, Adam Grossman has shaped The Master Singers into one of Lexington’s premier chamber choruses, known for their diverse programming and musical excellence. From Renaissance polyphony to contemporary choral works, Grossman’s vision has consistently challenged and inspired both singers and audiences.
“Adam’s leadership has elevated The Master Singers to extraordinary heights,” said a spokesperson for the ensemble. “His dedication to musical artistry and community engagement, especially his commitment to partnering with children’s choirs, has made an indelible impact on our organization and the broader Lexington community.”
The celebratory season highlights Grossman’s enduring legacy with two special concerts that exemplify his dedication to fostering collaboration and presenting dynamic, inspiring music:
Pops! Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow: This year’s Pops concert will feature a heartwarming collaboration with the Children’s Community Chorus under the direction of Angela Carpenter. Together, the ensembles will present a vibrant program designed to showcase the beauty of intergenerational music-making and engage the wider community.
